Scituate harbor cultural district
The Massachusetts Cultural Council approved Scituate’s application to have the harbor recognized as a cultural district. The move puts Scituate’s main business district in line for state grants to promote the arts, technical advice and the chance to benefit from the state’s marketing arm.
The cultural district will extend from Front Street at St. Mary’s all the way along the harbor to the Lighthouse. This year will bring many new cultural events as well as expand current events and venues. Scituate Harbor Cultural District in the Press
